I WISH, I WISH - PROLOGUE: 8 Medals (225 points)

Here's another guide, this time for I Wish, I Wish. It's a game compatible to Arkanoid, but 4 times harder, and 4 times funnier! ;)

MEDALS

Arrogance (5 points)
Submit your score
I'm not explaining that. :P

Old grandma (5 points)
Score less than 20,000 points
Shouldn't be too hard, no?

Addiction (10 points)
Play the game at least 10 times in one go
Just play 10 games without closing the game once.

Combo-breaker (25 points)
Get a combo of 5 or more
Make your ball hit 5 items or more before it hits another paddle.

Listen to the ball (25 points)
See all 7 score messages in one go
Do what it says. Check the list below for all messages.

Ball master (50 points)
Gain over 120,000 points!
This takes some practice, but it isn't that hard. When you've got the points, die to get the medal.

Determination (100 points)
Receive all medals on NewGrounds
Don't you worry, he's talking about the game's medals, not ALL the medals. Just recieve all the other medals to get this one. When you've done that, close the game and reopen it. You get it when you start a new game.

Pacifist (5 points, secret)
..........
Don't try your best. Like you care.

MESSAGES

These are all the messages you can get. Your message depends on your final score.

0 - 20000: I...can't...believe it...you've scored worse than my grandma...
20000 - 40000: Oh no!!! That was terrible... you can't be happy with that effort...
40000 - 60000: Not bad... but far from great. Surely you can do better...
60000 - 80000: Decent try! That was pretty good... though I know you can do better!
80000 - 100000: Good job! Not the best I've seen, but very impressive.
100000 - 120000: Your score upset that wannabe 'silverball'. Nice work, don't stop now!
120000+: Great work! You're the best I've seen in quite some time!

OBJECTS

Below you'll find a list with all objects and collectables in the game.

Snowball: This item will slow donw your ball
Fire: This will increase your ball speed.
Green Ball: This item will make more items spawn.
Rubber: Will make your ball bounce off.
Silverball: Iron bar that also bounces of your ball, but doesn't disappear. Pops up when you collect Green Balls.

HINTS, TIPS & FACTS

- The only way to score points is to collect items. Just keeping your ball bounce between to paddels doesn't make it easier for you.
- When the ball is about to go off-screen, you can slide into it to still recover it.
- The music isn't coded right, it might stop sometimes or even switch songs.
- If you want to get points as fast as ppossible, hit the Green Balls first. They'll spawn more items for you.
- Rubber gives you the most points.

Yup, there you go. The medals are pretty easy-peasy, so, yeah...

LARRY: BIG DIPPER: 11 Medals (500 points)

Big Dipper is kind of an avalanche game, but now you fall together with the objects. It's a really good game, awesome music, good drawings and great quality.

COLLECTABLES

On the right side of the screen you can see which collectables you will encounter while falling. Every collectable earns you points.

Blue Gems: These are the only collectables that are NOT shown on the right side of the screen. There are 10 of these.
Red Orbs: These orbs will heal you. There are 15 of these.
Orange Orbs: These orbs will bring you into rage, making you able to destroy rocks without losing health. There are 3 of these.
Green Orbs: These orbs can cure you from poison. There are 3 of these. They will only be available when you've passed half of the pit.
Birds: Birds will temporarily slow your fall, making it easier to dodge rocks. There are 5 of these.

ROCKS

The rocks are the only objects you must avoid. The bigger a rock is, the more health you will lose when you hit it. The amount of rocks will increase when falling down.

Normal Rocks: These rocks will appear all the time. They don't have any side-effects.
Red Rocks: These rocks will appear when you've passed 2500 meters. They do the damage that depends on the size plus some extra damage.
Green Rocks: These rocks will appear a few steps before your first Green Orb. These rocks will do the damage that depends on the size and will poison you. You'll stay poisoned until you collect a Green Orb.
White Rock: These appear when you've passed 7500 meters. These blocks do the damage that depends on their size and will temporarily freeze you. While frozen, your left and right movement will be slower.

MEDALS

Angry rock basher (25 points)
Destroy 10 boulders in a single rage
Very easy to get, you'll probably obtain this when you enter your first rage.

Gem collector (25 points)
Collect all 10 gems in a single run
Since they're not shown on the right side, look out for these.

Glutton for recovery (25 points)
Use every antidote orb to recover from poison in a single run
Remember that you MUST be poisoned while collecting the orbs to get this medal. So keep in mind that when you're about to encounter a Green Orb you get poisoned first.

Nice and healthy (25 points)
Collect all health orbs in a single run
Probably the hardest of the collect-medals to get, since the last collectable is always a Red Orb. You don't have to be injured while collecting them.

Rageaholic (25 points)
Collect all rage orbs in a single run
Just do this, I guess.

Free faller (50 points)
Survive for 3 minutes
Since birds slow you down, grab onto these as much as possible.

Massive damage (50 points)
Destroy 20 boulders in a single rage
It's the easiest to do this with the last Orange Orb, since at that time there will be a lot more rocks on the screen.

Badass dipper (100 points)
Reach the bottom of the Giant Pit
Good luck! You'll need it! :)

Falling toilet (25 points, secret)
...........
Pass a very random object while falling (probably around the 3rd Blue Gem)

Falling llama (50 points, secret)
...........
Pass an even more random object (probably around the 5th Blue Gem)

Hungry hungry homer (100 points, secret)
...........
Pass the most random object ever! (probably around the 7th Blue Gem)

HINTS, TIPS & FACTS

- You are allowed to hit the walls of the pit.
- For some reason rage cures your poison.
- The controls are very touchy, making it hard to move slow. Keep that in mind.
- It's practically impossible to reach the bottom without lsoing any health, since you'll have a wall of rocks in front of you at some points.

That's about it. Now go get them medals! 8D

HOT NINJA MOON MOON: 4 Medals (105 points)

Hot Ninja Moon Moon (HNMM) is a typical retro-style pixel platformer. It's fun to play, and (even better) has Meatboy! :D
This guide is somewhat more detailed than my other guides.

VIDEOS

Tyrone

.
/* */
Meatboy

.
/* */
Song used in the videos: Waterflame - Outrun

MEDALS

Meat and greet (25 points)
Unlock Meatboy
To unlock Meatboy, collect four coins at the Tyrone Stage.

Pieces of 8 (25 points)
Beat the game with all 8 coins
Speaks for itself. The Meatboy stage does NOT LONGER contain 10 coins. It now has 8 coins, so you're no longer allowed to skip coins. It doesn't matter in what stage you get the coins. Also, see video.

Flawless victory (50 points)
Beat the game without dying
Also speaks for itself. It's not too hard, you just have to practice. Also, see video.

Really? (5 points, secret medal)
...........
You probably got this on your first run. If not: die. A lot.

CHARACTERS

Tyrone
Tyrone is available all the time. He looks pretty much like the characters from Dad 'n Me, but in fact, I have no clue where he is from. Tyrone's stage is easier compared to Meatboy's stage, but it's somewhat longer I think (I'm gonna count the screens). You can recognize Tyrone's double-jump with a somersault.

Meatboy
Everybody knows Meatboy. If you don't, don't mention it to ANYONE. You'll get killed. :D
Meatboy is unlocked after you collect 4 coins at the Tyrone stage. Meatboy's stage also contains screens from Tyrone's stage, but some are a bit harder. You can recognize Meatboy's double-jump with a blood splat.

HAZARDS

There are six types of hazards in the game:
- Holes: I'm sure you always avoid these. There is a point where you shouldn't, check the video for that.
-Spikes: Stationary, typical hazards. You can stand on the outer edges of their platforms.
-Spikeballs: These balls are spiked and always rotate. They can be either stationary or moving.
Spikeblocks: These blocks are spiked and never sit still.
-Lasers: These are doors that open and close again. When closed, they can kill you. You don't have much time to go through these, so be careful.
-Lasereyes: When these are closed, they're just white lines on a wall. Once you get on their height (doesn't matter if you are in front of them or behind), they'll open and shoot a laser to where they are looking. The lasers are a bit faster than you are.

HINTS, TIPS & FACTS

- Again, Meatboy's stage does no longer contain 10 coins, but 8. You can no longer skip coins.
- Platforms are smaller than they look. The very edges of the platforms are not inside the hitbox, so they 'don't really excist'. That makes people think the double-jump registration is bad, but that's just because they fell through the edge and jumped in the air. That's why I told you how the double-jumps look, so you can see wether you can jump again or not.
- On your first run, don't go for the coins or 0 deaths. You'll fail.
- You will obtain medals only when you've finished a stage. So let's say you've collected 8 coins, but don't finish the stage, you won't obtain the medal.
- The music is awesome :)

There you go. This was helpful, wasn't it? :D

I WANNA BE THE FLASH GAME: 14 Medals (505 points).

Update: video walkthrough.

.
/* */
If you see any glitches at saving points, that's due to the montage. I cut out all the parts were I close the game and restart it, so some parts don't align well.
Here's the music used in the video: DOOM Tribute by Brunoxi

IWBTFG is a game compatible to games like Lastman, The Unfair Platformer and The Impossible Quiz. It seems impossible, but in fact, it's not.
The big problem about IWBTFG is that is filled with bugs, bad physics and glitched hitboxes. And that's the point of the game, so if you can't stand these, don't play the game.

I'll be going over the medals first.

MEDALS

I can't take this anymore (5 points)
Commit suicide 15 times
You can commit suicide by pressing Q, so do that 15 times.

The following counts for all the Die-medals. If you keep spamming Q and R in a good rythm (lol) you'll get more deads pretty fast. I got the 500 and 1000 deaths medals these ways.

Time Waster (10 points)
You could have white teeth by now
Play the game for 2 hours (do not confuse with 'Why are you still playing?'-medal).

Why are you still playing? (50 points)
2 hours of gameplay
Description is wrong, instead of 2 hours you must play 3 hours (thank you WonderTheHedgehog).

Slow down Speed Racer (100 points)
Finish under 30 minutes, but I guess you're used to that
To read the tactics for this one, see the medal below. My record now is about 10 minutes.

Zero Hero (100 points)
PM me if you unlock this, you're glitching the game, aren't you? Right? RIGHT!?
I first want to say, I got this medal without glitching, hacking or whatever. I'll now explain how.
The save buttons save your stats (time and deaths) as soon as you walk over them. If you die and return to your last save, your stats won't be saved again. You have to use this to your advance.
First things to do: make sure you know most of the traps AND that you reach the first save without deaths. Now, let's say you've reached the first save with 0 deaths. You activate the save, and after that die. You then should close the game, start it again, and click continue at the menu. You'll return to the save again, still with 0 deaths. Now all you have to do is use this technique at every save. I know this takes very long, but hey, do you want the points or not? To make it shorter: when you know you're about to die (i.e. you're about to land on spikes) press R immediatly. restarting doesn't count as a death, so you'll just return to your save again without an extra death. I got the Speed Race and this medal using this technique.

The secret medals are just level medals. You'll get them throughout the game.

HINTS & TIPS

Here are some things you just need to know.
- You ARE gonna hate this game. You will stress. If you're afraid of this, I highly suggest you not to play this game.
- Like I already said, you can use the bugs, glitches and everything like that to your advance.
- The vulcano further in the game spits turds at random. It's pure luck if you get hit or not.
- There are screens that do not contain traps! HOORAY!!! :D
- Once you get to the screen with the Bob-Omb (with the sign saying 'Intruders will be killed on sight' or whatever) and you think you're not gonna make it up the platforms without the Bob-Omb hitting you, just return to the previous screen. That will make the Bob-Omb reset itself.
- The save at the screen with the Flash timeline on top is fake. If you look closely, you'll see that it actually says 'evas' instead of 'save'. Don't step on it or it will activate the spikes in front of you. Also, be careful while walking beneath the timeline. There's a blank keyframe that looks somehat different than the others. It will fall down.

That's it. Also check out the video!

INVISIBLE RUNNER: 8 Medals (500 points)

Invisible Runner is a game with 25 levels, which you play while being invisible. You can become temporarily visible with the orbs scattered around the level.

MEDALS

All medals are self-explenatory, it's just a challenge to get the harder ones. However, the only medal that is hard to get, is the Invisible Medal.

Invisible Medal (100 points)
Find the invisible medal somewhere in the game
So, I had a hard time finding this one, I tried clicking everything, but then it turns out it isn't even a button at all. In fact, the medal is pretty easy to get.
When you've arrived at level 10, you'll see a platform in the top-left corner of the screen, right underneath your lives. Get there and jump on it. There's nothing there, but you will get the medal. You can be either visible or invisible to get this medal.

TIPS

- The game contains LOTS of bugs. The most annoying bug is the 'wallrunbug'. You are actually able to stand on the wall for half a second sometimes, which is pretty annoying. Other bugs are the 'instand-runningbug' (running while standing still) and the 'bounce-offbug' (for some reason bouncing of walls and floors sometimes). Look out for these.
- When playing the game for the first time, try not to get the highsore medals immediatly. Make sure you get used to the game first and go for the easy medals, such as the spike and spark medals.
- Remember very well where your character is when it becomes invisible. This is very handy at level 19 for example. Try remembering the speed of the character as you are running while invisible.

There you go. I don't know what else to say, lol. Just try to get the medals I guess.

CHIBI KNIGHT: 8 Medals (155 points)

===

Hello, this is just a little walkthrough I made for Chibi Knight. Nothing official, but really helpful!

MEDALS

Dragon-slayer (5 points)
Beat Island Beast
Of the three Giant Beasts, this one is the medium level. The Island Beast can be reached when you've obtained the Magic Boots (will be explained later).
Strategy: The Island Beast will spit three (slightly homing) fireballs each time it comes out of the ground. Touching the Beast will also damage you. To attack it, jump and hit either his neck or head a few times.

Chibi-mage (10 points)
Get all 4 spells
The 4 mages are not so hard to find, really.
Mage 1: At the point you start, there's a house to your right. The first mage lives there. He will give you the ability to shoot magic balls in the air.
Mage 2: After obtaining the axe (will be explained later), go into the forest and look for the tree with a sleeping bird in it. When you cut that tree, it will turn into a house. The mage living there, will give you the ability to heal yourself.
Mage 3: To the nord-east of the forest, there's a house. There you'll find a crying kid who's grandpa is in need of wood. When you've obtained the axe (will be explained later), cut enough trees to make the kid happy, his grandpa (the thirth mage) will give you the ability to protect yourself from enemies.
Mage 4: The last mage is found in the dungeon (will be explained later). When you've gone up to the second floor, go right immediatly and then the first right again. Keep walking through the hallway until you'll encounter a large torch. There hides the last mage. He will give you the ability to shoot fireballs.

Furball-slayer (10 points)
Beat Canyon Beast
This is the easiest Giant Beast, I think myself. To beat it, go up to the platform next to him. When he's playing with some of his drool, you can hit him. After a while he will throw furballs in the air. Look out for those and for his swinging arms. After that, he'll play with his drool again.

Demon-slayer (25 points)
Defeat Demon Beast
This is by far the hardest Giant Beast to slay. This boss contains three stages:
Stage 1: The Demon will fly on top of the moutain all the time, spitting fireballs down at a high speed. To the left, right and on top of the mountain are placed yellow orbs you have to crush in order to proceed to the next stage. A few hits against them will do. You can get on top of the moutain usen the zigzag stairs.
Stage 2: The demon will start moving around, still spitting fireballs down but much slower than before. You can hit him most of the time by staying on top of the mountain. His patterns are easy to follow.
Stage 3: When you've passed the previous stage, the beast will turn into an eye and fall on the floor. It won't attack you, it'll just look mad. Hit the eye until his lifes are gone and you've beaten him.

Speed-runner (25 points)
Beat game without getting the axe and without getting any spells
Speaks for itself pretty much. Just make sure you don't encounter any mages.

Worthy-chibi (25 points)
Defeat all three knights
The knights are the hardest bosses in the game. From easy to hard, they are: Red, Purple and Green. I recommend you encountering them in this way.
Red Knight: When you've entered this level, immediatly run to the right since the knight will swing his axe at you. When the knight doesn't own it's axe, you are able to hit it. He runs to the axe pretty slow, so this shouldn't take long. When he has found his axe, the knight will first try to hit you once, and then throw his axe again. This is the whole pattern.
Purple Knight: When started, jump on one of the two platforms. The knight will start spinning to the other side of the room. There, he will get dizzy, making him vulnerable. He recovers pretty fast, so hit him quickly. After that, he will start spinning again, and so on. Watch out for the flamethrowers, they do lots of damage.
Green Knight: This knight is immune to all your attacks. When started, jump on the platform closest to the knight. When the statue spits a rock on the side of the knight, hit it with your sword so it will fly to the knight. Time your swing to hit him well. While doing this, the knight will slowly approach you. When he reaches your platform, jump onto the highest platfrom as he will try to attack you. When he's on the other side, use the same manouvre. The rocks will damage you too!

Grinder (50 points)
Level up everything to level 8
The game saves your data, so you don't have to do this in one go. I recommend you to slay the final boss a few more times to obtain this medal, since that will make you gain the most experience.

Slash-n'-burn (5 points, secret)
..........
Be an awesome help to the third mage.

HINTS, TIPS & FACTS

Other walkthroughs

Obtaining the Magic Boots
When you've slain the Canyon Beast, you'll find the Magic Boots. To know how to beat him, see above.

Obtaining the Axe
You need the Magic Boots for this!
At your starting point, there's some sort of temple to your left. Go there. At first, it will look like there's nothing there. Jump onto the fountain until you reach the very top of the temple. There you'll find a cage with some sort of firefly in it. Jump to the cage to free it. It will tell you that it's name is Pixie and that you have to follow him to find his master. When returning to the map, Pixie will fly to the north. Follow him. You should cross the forest, the water (with the Magic Boots) and the island of the Island Beast (when you've not beaten him yet, you have to do that first (see above)). Behind the island sails a boat. On there, you'll find Pixie's master Glitch, the blacksmith. For bringing Pixie back, he'll give you the axe and the instructions to use it. Pixie will stay with Glitch.

Obtaining the Skull Key
The Skull Key is the key you need to enter the dungeon. When you've slain the Island Beast, you'll find it (see above).

Tips & Hints

Don't underestimate the game!
The game may look like some stupid childish kindergarten game, it's really a challenge. Don't think of it too easy!

Read all signs carefully!
The signs in the dungeon are really some help to you. Don't hesitate reading them. However, don't let them fool you. There's no real maze in the dungeon as they say, and there really are 2 keys on the first floor.

Make sure you're ready to enter the dungeon!
The dungeon is the hardest part of the game, with much better enemies. Make sure you're prepared for everything. When you've leveled everything to level 4 or 5, you should be ready to enter.

Use spells!
Spells are really important if you want to win the game. They are your secret weapon. Make sure you obtain at least the Magic Balls and the Heal spell, otherwise it'll be very hard to beat the game.

Do not dodge enemies!
Before fighting the Demon Beast, make sure you've beaten every beast in the dungeon. They are bigger and stronger, so give you much more points and can prepare you for the knights and the beast. The beasts in the dungeon won't respawn once you've beaten them.

Going for the Speed-runner? Do not level up Magic!
When you're aiming to get the Speed-runner medal, you must NOT level up your Magic skill. You don't need it, so stock up on your experience points. One thing, when keeping Magic at level 0, you're Attack and Armor skills should be at a higher level than 4 or 5 to the enter the dungeon (level 6 or 7 or will do).

Facts

- T.O.U.S (the purple pigs in the dungeon) can only hit you with their weapon when it's flung at you, when it returns to T.O.U.S, it'll go right through you. So just jump over it and do not back off, be brave and hit him while you can!
- When your attack skill is at level 6 or 7, you can beat almost every beast (not the T.O.U.S) in the dungeon with one swing. Use this to your advance!
- Not only the sings, also the people outside the dungeon are helpful. Make sure you've talked to everyone!
- When you want to level up outside of the dungeon, there are two places you can go for the best leveling. One is the forest, since you'll encounter the most enemies there at once. I recommend fighting a level with birds in the forest, since those will have about 10 enemies. Two is the bridge. Lots of enemies there, including the spiders.
- Once you've entered the room with the knights, your progress is saved. When you've slain a knight, your progress is saved too. When you've slain the Demon Beast, your progress is NOT saved.
- Dungeon keys: there are 2 keys on floor 1, there's 1 key on floor 2, there are no keys on floor 3.
- The spiders in the dungeon are stronger than the spiders outside the dungeon, don't think of those too easy too!

That's it. I hope this was helpful! Enjoy your new medals!
